As part of the ongoing integration process that has been under way since Iberdrola’s
September 2008 acquisition of Energy East Corporation, “Iberdrola USA” is replacing the
name “Energy East.”

For the time being, the address for the Iberdrola USA Internet site will still be www.energyeast.com and any e-mail addresses
that include “energyeast” will not change.
